Day-by-Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

• Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by a Praygod Africa Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel.

• Overnight at Osoita Lodge (BB).

• Optional: City tour or dinner at Carnivore Restaurant (on request).

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park – Home of Mount Kilimanjaro

• Drive south to Amboseli National Park, famous for large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

• Afternoon game drive after lunch.

• Overnight at Amboseli Lodge (LDBB).

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Amboseli National Park

• Morning and afternoon game drives across Amboseli’s swamps and open plains.

• Excellent chance to spot lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and hippos.

• Meals and overnight at Amboseli Lodge (LDBB).

Day 4: Amboseli to Lake Manyara National Park via Namanga Border

• After breakfast, cross the Namanga Border into Tanzania.

• Continue to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos.

• Afternoon game drive and overnight at Manyara Lodge (LDBB).

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park – Wildlife Paradise

• Depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s best wildlife destinations.

• Lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive.

• Overnight at Serengeti Lodge (LDBB).

Day 6: Full-Day Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

• Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s wildlife-rich plains.

• Optional: Sunrise hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast.

• Overnight at Serengeti Lodge (LDBB).

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

• Arrive in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

• Afternoon at leisure with scenic crater views.

• Overnight at Lodge (LDBB).

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Big Five Safari Experience

• Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari, one of the best places to spot the Big Five.

• Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

• Overnight at Lodge (LDBB).

Day 9: Departure – Transfer to Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport

• After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch or continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.

• Optional: Extend your safari with a Zanzibar beach holiday.
