Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Your exciting journey begins with pickup from your Arusha hotel by our professional safari driver. Enjoy a scenic drive to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, with a picnic lunch en route.
Descend 2,000 feet into the crater in a 4×4 safari vehicle for a full-day Ngorongoro Crater game drive. Home to over 30,000 animals, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is often called Africa’s Eden and the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. You’ll spot lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and various bird species in their natural habitat.
Later, ascend to the crater rim and check in at the luxurious Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Flight to Serengeti North – Game Drive in Mara Region
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende) – the heart of the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Upon arrival, meet your safari guide for a thrilling game drive across the northern Serengeti plains. This region is rich in resident wildlife and is home to the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes.
Expect to encounter large lion prides, elusive leopards, and massive elephant herds as you explore this incredible ecosystem.

Day 3: Serengeti North Mara – Game Drive & Wildebeest Migration Viewing
After a hearty breakfast, head out for a full-day Serengeti game drive. With picnic lunch provided, you’ll chase the migratory herds and predators along the Mara River.
From August to October, the Wagakuria region becomes a wildlife haven as massive wildebeest herds gather to cross the crocodile-infested river. Watch out for dramatic crossings and predator-prey interactions – one of nature’s greatest spectacles.

Day 4: Serengeti Mara River – Full-Day Game Drive & River Crossing
Enjoy another exciting day at Kogatende, Serengeti North, focused on catching the Great Migration river crossing. Marvel at the persistence of the wildebeest and zebras as they risk it all to reach greener pastures.
Your experienced guide will position you strategically at likely crossing points. Though timing the crossing is never guaranteed, sightings are highly likely during this season.
In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and enjoy a bonfire under the African stars.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Fly to Arusha – Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and one final Serengeti morning game drive. Later, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your scenic flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international flight home.
