Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll clear immigration and customs, then meet your Praygod Africa Safaris representative for a private transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

🌿 Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara – Game Drive in Birdwatchers’ Paradise
After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for Lake Manyara National Park (130km). Known for its rich biodiversity and pink-hued flamingos, this compact park is a bird lover’s paradise with over 400 recorded species. Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunch, looking out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the elusive tree-climbing lions.

🐃 Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ndutu – Wildebeest Calving Grounds
Leave early for the Ndutu area, a crucial part of the Southern Serengeti ecosystem. This is the heart of the wildebeest calving season, when thousands of calves are born daily during February and March. Expect to see herds of zebra, gazelles, and wildebeest, along with predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

🦁 Day 4: Full-Day Safari in Ndutu – Witness the Great Migration
Spend the full day tracking the Great Wildebeest Migration across the open plains of Ndutu. The calving season is in full swing—over 8,000 calves are born each day! Witness predator-prey interactions, newborn wildebeest learning to walk within minutes, and the high drama of survival.
Ndutu is also rich in resident wildlife: leopards, giraffes, jackals, elephants, and 500+ bird species.

🏞️ Day 5: Morning Safari in Ndutu – Drive to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Ndutu, where the interaction between herds and predators is always intense. Depart with picnic lunch toward the Ngorongoro Crater, stopping en route at the historic Olduvai Gorge, the “Cradle of Mankind” where some of the oldest human fossils were discovered.

🌋 Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Kilimanjaro Airport
After early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as Africa’s Eden. Spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—in this breathtaking caldera. Explore grasslands, wetlands, and soda lakes teeming with wildlife.
Later in the afternoon, return to Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha for your flight home.
