Day 1: Arusha – Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut (2,514 m)

Start your adventure with a scenic drive to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. After registration, you’ll begin the hike accompanied by an armed park ranger, passing through grasslands where you might spot giraffes, buffalo, and zebras.
Trail highlights: Fig Tree Arch, tropical forest, waterfalls

Day 2: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut (3,570 m)

📍 Altitude Gain: 2,514 m to 3,570 m
Today’s trail ascends steeply through montane forest and heather zones with stunning views of the Meru Crater and Ash Cone. Break at Mgongo wa Tembo (Elephant’s Back) before continuing to Saddle Hut.
After lunch, take an acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820 m) for panoramic views.

Day 3: Saddle Hut – Socialist Peak (4,566 m) – Momella Gate – Arusha
🌄 Start: Midnight Summit Attempt
🚶 Summit Hike Duration: 4–5 hours
⛰️ Peak: Socialist Peak (4,566 m)
🔁 Descent to Gate: 6–7 hours
🚐 Transfer back to Arusha
Begin the early morning trek to Socialist Peak via Rhino Point and Cobra Point, reaching the summit by sunrise. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding plains.
Descend back to Momella Gate via Saddle and Miriakamba Huts. Receive your summit certificates and transfer back to your hotel in Arusha.
